MITA MINING AND INDUSTRIAL RAW MATERIALS COMPANY LTD Mita was established as company in 2006 in order to provide companies in the ceramics business with the necessary raw materials. On the company’s premises large reserves of the following minerals have been discovered: ball clay, potash feldspar and dolomite. So the company started mining these minerals

The company based in Eskişehir and her mining fields cover an area of 22.000 ha land divided by 23 officially licensed mining fields in the Eskişehir-Afyon region.

The ball clay found on our premises shows high plasticity and high dry strength (70kg/cm2) specifications. It can be regarded as a valuable alternative to Ukrainian clays. Within the potash feldspar free quartz is found making it an ideal mineral for enrichment processes. The dolomite contains high amounts of magnesium, low amounts of silicium and iron, meaning it is a very clean form of dolomite, so being an ideal raw material for the production of plain glass.
